An Expat Woman From Central Asia In Turkey – Yoga Teacher Shares Her Tips On How To Live A Happier Life
In this interview with Sayora, expat woman from Central Asia who used to live in Istanbul, Turkey read about her yoga and healing practice and find out what is her tip on how to live a happier life as an expat in Turkey.
Here is what she says about herself:

I am a practitioner of Yoga and energy healing for the last 11 years. After I graduated from the University as a teacher of Russian literature and language something inside of me was still “seaking” something else, and after some time practicing Feng-Shue and learning more about Buddhizm and Taoism, living by the moon calendar I was gently “brought” to Yoga…you know they say When student is ready teacher appears. 🙂
I understood then, that Yoga and teaching Yoga was my calling! I am passionate about practices and same time share this ancient knowledge step by step, deeper and deeper and I am grateful every day for this for myself and Universe.
When did you live in Turkey and where?
I moved to Turkey in 2013 and left in July 2016. Was living in Istanbul.
As a yoga teacher, what do you enjoy most about yoga and do you think expats can benefit from practicing yoga and how?
Yoga is my lifestyle. Yoga is not just poses or breathing exercise it is daily awareness of your inner Being, of your thoughts and intentions and much more… I guarantee anybody who practices Yoga will benefit at all levels in their life.
What would be your best tip for expats in Turkey on how to live a happier life in Turkey?
See yourself as a living magnet, what you hold inside that is what you attract in your life. I am very much inspired by works of Abraham Hicks and Eckhart Tolle, and I hope that their teachings will keep on expanding the consciousness of even more people on the planet in the future.

I usually enjoy expat stories on here but this one was not so good. All she seem to talk about is yoga (she could be anywhere on the planet) nothing of interest or helpful about life in Turkey.
Hi Melanie, I’m so happy that you usually like expat stories on expatwomeninturkey.com! Yeeey! 🙂 And I agree with you that there is not much about Turkey in this Interview, but what I found useful is that expats can find Sayora online and take her lessons, so I thought sharing what she does is important. Thank you for your comment and hope that you’ll like next article I’m preparing.
