How Online Birth Preparation Classes Helped Me Have A Great Birth Experience – Pre And Postnatal Yoga Classes For Expats
Two months ago I gave birth to my second son in a public hospital in Ankara, Turkey. Name of the hospital is Hacettepe Hastanesi and I have only good things to say about it. Starting from my prenatal doctor, my birth experience to the baby care after the birth. Everything went smoothly and my boy came healthy into this world with a normal birth. But for my relaxed pregnancy and great birth experience, big thanks goes to my prenatal yoga teacher and birth preparation expert Ana Plisnic.
Why I needed birth support?
Birth experience with my first born was a bit complicated, so I didn’t feel secure and relaxed about it and I needed help in overcoming fears and anxiety about the second birth. I had previous great experience with Ana Plisnic and her ‘Mom and Baby Yoga’ in Ankara couple of years ago.
Ana Plisnic and her family lived in Turkey for 4 years. Now when they moved back to Serbia she is available over Skype for pre and post natal yoga and birth preparation classes. I asked her for help and from the first moment, she was very supportive that after the first class I felt substantially better about pregnancy and birth! It was like a revelation 🙂 and I couldn’t be happier with how things went on! And I didn’t even have to leave my house, get into traffic and lose a lot of time commuting. It was held in the comfort of my home at the time that was good for me. Who can ask for more? 🙂
For all of us, foreigners in Turkey, it is very important that Ana lived in Turkey for such a long time, she gave birth to her second child here in Turkey, Ankara and she knows very well how doctors and health system works in Turkey.
How Ana Plisnic’s birth preparation classes helped me
Because of her vast experience with birth preparation and pre and postnatal yoga, I decided to attend her online classes and I can’t be happier I did it. She thought me how to accept my changing body, how to keep it toned and how to prepare for the birth. I am sure that without her instructions and support things would be much harder. Her smile and bright spirit will light the darkest spots and her optimism gives strength, just what a pregnant woman needs!
I am remembering the birth of my second son with happiness and peace and would recommend every pregnant woman this kind of support. My birth expert Ana Plisnic works online with expats in Turkey (as well as all around the globe) and you can find her on her page Ana Plisnic – Yoga Path or send her a direct email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
